It is a pretty cool feature that I only discovered a couple of years ago after using the app for at least 5–6 years. I also started using it to sketch out decor ideas for certain walls of our living room. For example, my wife and I have discussed some remodeling ideas for our current home the Visual Notebook is filled with layout ideas for rearranging rooms and furniture ideas. The Visual Notebook is used not only for Techuisite posts and book ideas but for any idea or problem I am trying to flesh out. I usually create a new journal each year and give it a new year the Visual Notebook has existed since I discovered how much I appreciate drawing out my ideas to provide a better visual view of what I am trying to accomplish. I have created many different notebooks over the years, but I have marked some as my “favorites” and use them almost every day are the 2021 Journal and Visual Notebook. I like Notability, but GoodNotes for me fits what I need. There is also Notability, which my wife used for college that many people love. I have talked about GoodNotes before, but it remains my favorite notebook app for writing with the Apple Pencil.

To do this, though, I needed a good writing app. IPad Mini running GoodNotes with Apple Pencil 2. Both are fine, but it is different you can argue the iPhone is more similar to how I use Things on the iPad mini, but when I am using the Apple Pencil, I feel like I am touching and manipulating each task. I am mostly managing the to-dos on my iPhone, but I will add tasks on the go if I need to, and on my MacBook Air, I am working on Things from a keyboard. I feel like I am physically working on my to-do list when using Things on my iPad mini, which is an exciting difference from on my iPhone or MacBook Air. Writing in my tasks in Things is a joy with the Apple Pencil it is a great experience I hadn’t tried until I had the iPad mini. I will then write in anything that I need to add. I will clear any tasks I forgot to complete the day before or things I no longer need to do. After I journal, I will go through my Today folder in Things. Usually, in the morning, I try and get up and journal in Goodnotes which is another favorite iPad app that I will go over later. Writing a task into Things with Apple Pencil. So without further ado, let’s go over my favorite apps on the iPad: Cross-Compatible Apps Things ($13.99) I am not writing on the iPad mini, that would be on the MacBook Air, but everything else I need to do the iPad mini delivers outstandingly. Sometimes I don’t bring my MacBook Air, but instead, I will bring the iPad mini and iPhone Mini only. I prefer my iPad Mini when I am at home and take it everywhere when I leave the house. The size, weight, design, display, and Apple Pencil 2 support make the iPad mini an outstanding product overall. The iPad mini 6 has become my favorite iPad of all time.

Some of them are for productivity, but the others are either for consumption or personal needs - not professional. Instead, my list consists of apps that I use on my iPad mini almost every day.

It’s a much more useful way to setup your shopping lists, and everything syncs to your iPhone or iPad via the company’s cloud service. You’ll need to subscribe to the company’s AnyList Complete ($8-$12/year) service to use the Mac version, but once in you get the ability to manage all of your shopping lists and recipes with a full-sized keyboard and a larger screen. The Mac version replicates much of the look and feel of its iOS counterpart, although it’s naturally optimized for the larger screen.
